AUCH, Don
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don "Pa" Auch, a teacher to hundreds and a friend to all.
Don is lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Vi, of 45 years. Don is immensely missed by his son, Wes, daughter, Nicole, son in law, Paul, and cherished grandchildren, Emmett, Owen and Amber.
Thank you to Dr. Spak for his unwavering support through Don's painful battle with cancer, including many home visits. Also thank you to those of you who prayed for us and remained hopeful. We are very grateful. A heartfelt thank you to Marty and Glen for the endless number of hours they helped to fulfill Don's wishes to conclude his journey in the privacy of his home with his immediate family.
As "Pa" was an avid reader, we ask that a book donation be made to a local school library in Don's memory.
At Don's request, a celebration of his life will be planned for the start of his favourite season, "Golf", in the spring.
Thank you for the many flowers, cards and condolences. We look forward to connecting soon. To sign the book of condolences and to share memories, please visit www.southsidememorial.com
