The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Turner officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. Mr. Walker, a native of Burke County, had retired as a truck driver and was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Walker; two sons, Calvin Walker and Steven Walker, both of Augusta; four daughters, Euridene Hughes, Brenda Hill and Robertstine Walker, all of Augusta, and Carolyn Blount, Savannah; his mother, Carrie Bell Walker, Augusta; four brothers, Charles Walker, Waynesboro, Frank Walker, Detroit, Otis Walker, Jr., Chicago, and Willie E. Walker, Augusta; five sisters, Beatrice Walker, Irene Ivey, Gloria Jean Wells and Barbara Jean Walker, all of Augusta, and Dotsie Leathers, Waynesboro; and 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
