      Frank Tomaszewski of Leduc, formerly of Sunnybrook, passed away at the age 87 years.
      Frank is survived by Elsie, his loving wife of 55 years; daughters: Loretta (Doug) Sontag and Rita (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren: Greg, Janette, Erin and Ryan. He was predeceased by his daughter Tammy; parents: Sebastian and Mary Tomaszewski; brothers: Joseph, John, Peter, Andrew, Michael and Stanley; sisters: Katie Fedor, Anna Mendys, Nellie Konwicki, Sophie, Emily and Frances Tomaszewski.
      A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Thorsby, Alberta with Reverend James Banu Bodula Celebrant. Cremation has taken place.

      TOMASZEWSKI, Joseph On October 25, 2005 Mr. Joseph Tomaszewski of Leduc, Alberta formerly of Sunnybrook, Alberta passed away at the age of 93 years. Joseph is survived by two brothers, Andrew (Mildred) and Frank (Elsie), both of Sunnybrook and sisters-in-law Veronica and Jenny, both of Leduc and Jenny of Thorsby. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, brothers, John, Peter, Michael and Stanley and sisters Katie Fedor, Anna Mendys, Nellie Konwicki, Sophie, Emily and Frances Tomaszewski. Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Thorsby, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Thorsby with Reverend Michael Mireau as Celebrant. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund or to the charity of one's choice.       FEBRUARY 9, 1923 - MARCH 23, 2016

      It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our family’s matriarch., Veronika Teresa Tomaszewski at Leduc, AB at the age of 93 years.

      Veronika was born into a Polish family in Kuzmin, in what is now Ukraine on February 9, 1923 to Janek and Helena Osiecka. After the war, she immigrated to Canada, where she met John Tomaszewski, the love of her life. For the next 50 years she lived on their farm in Sunnybrook. Mom touched the hearts of everyone with her kindly ways and love of people, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

      Veronika will be lovingly remembered by her children: Edward (Cynthia), Adam (Cathy), Lillian (Ken) MacGregor, Theresa (Mark) Brooks, Ron (Arlene), Jean (Dean) Barager; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her two sisters-in-laws Jennie Tomaszewski, and Elsie Tomaszewski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

      Veronika was predeceased by her loving husband John; her son-in-law Edmund; her daughter-in-law Donna; and her cousin Kazia Rabski.

      A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Leduc, AB, with burial at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cemetery, Thorsby, AB.

      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Cemetery Fund, 5019 – 49 Avenue, Thorsby, AB T0C 2P0; Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 10665 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 3S9; or a charity of choice.

      March 31, 1932 – April 16, 2025

      Elsie Tomaszewski of Leduc, formerly of Sunnybrook, passed away April 16, 2025, at the age of 93. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughters: Loretta (Doug), and Rita (Brian); grandchildren: Greg, Janette (Aaron), Erin (Robin), and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Ruby, Zane, and Leo; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Elice, Jo, and Glenda.

      She was pre-deceased by husband Frank; daughter Tammy; her parents Fred and Amanda Klatt; sisters: Emma, Hadey, and Erna; and brother Harry.

      A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in St. Michael Catholic Church, 5105-45A St. Leduc, Alberta. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.

      The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Lee and the staffs of Salem Manor and Leduc Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
