| 1054 | To the best of our knowledge, Josephine never naturalized. However, in October of 2026, Anne RUZICKA found on the Government of Canada, Citizenship and Naturalization Records site this comment, "Married women may not be listed. Until 1932, a married woman had the same status as her husband: either a British subject or an alien. If her husband became naturalized, she was automatically included and did not have to apply separately." | NOHEJL, Josephine Sophia (I90)

| 1070 | We are confident that the correct spelling of Otto's surname is DOCKTOR. On the marriage particulars form it is spelled DOCKTER and his father's surname is spelled DOCKTON. Such is the danger of a transcribed document instead of an original. 26Jan22 - Otto's surname had been listed in the family tree as DOCKTOR but was changed today to DOCKTER. Ancestry search results as well as the marriage particulars attached to Otto and Jean support this spelling. | DOCKTER, Otto (I913)
| 1071 | We clearly know this must have been an estimate from Joseph as the documents support otherwise. He was 4 years old at the time he came to America and it is no surprise he would not know the exact date or location that he arrived. | DOBRY, Joseph August (I286)
| 1072 | We have John RUZICKA showing up on Los Angeles county voter registrations between 1938 and 1944 - yet he and the family were enumerated in Oregon in 1940. However, examination of that census record appears to show they were counted at Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp Applegate BR-42 that operated in the Rogue River National Forest between 1933 and 1941. Possibly a temporary residence for the family? | RUZICKA, Joseph John (I108)
| 1073 | We know he passed on March 2nd, but the year is unreadable on the headstone. | SANTIN, Joseph (I1629)
| 1074 | We know that on 28 Apr 1941 Jack was referred to by his RUZICKA surname (source - photograph - img153.tif) and on 23 Jul 1942 he was referred to as ROSE (source - photograph - img160.tif). Photographs (album09) with his own handwriting confirm this. | ROSE, John Joseph (I35)

| 1084 | Why in December of 1927 does Joseph list his permanent residence (border crossing document) as Ranfurly, Alberta but lists Annie's residence as Grand Forks, BC. Were they divorced? His work took him away? Again in 1937 when Annie crosses the border, she lists her father John Ruzicka as her contact instead of her husband. She makes no reference to Joseph in the crossing document. | RUZICKA, Annie Agnes (I106)

| 1099 | [Kripal.ged] Baptismal Certificate from the church states that she was baptiz ed on January 5. Her tombstone reads she was born in 1896, but a note she wrote o n her sixteenth birthday is dated 1911, which would mean she wa s born in 1895. There is also some disagreement about whether h er name is really Sophia or Sophie. The note mentioned above i s signed Sophia, but she always went by Sophie. Information from the 1920 census also indicates that she was bor n in 1895, and lists her name as Sophia. There is also a "Delayed Certificate of Birth" from the State o f Oklahoma Department of Health, dated August 28, 1958. This do cument states that no record was found for her birth, and the " date of birth was stated to be Sept. 21, 1895." Stated by Sophi a, presumably. Curiously, this document says her name is "Sophi e". It looks like it was filled out by her - since she normall y went by Sophie, that's probably what she was used to signing. | RUZICKA, Sophia Bertha (I742)

| 1100 | [Kripal.ged] Birth weight 1 lb. 2 oz. Lived about six hours Richard was born about 15 weeks premature. He lived only 6 hours. After his death, his maternal grandparents (Eugene and Velma Sullivan) took his body (in a shoebox) to Superior for burial. He was buried in the same grave with his maternal uncle, Eugene James Sullivan, Jr., who was killed in a car accident in February of 1950. | KRIPAL, Richard Eugene (I1218)
